'A Wrinkle in Time' at Round House Theatre. from Princeton University in English, Theatre, and Environmental Studies and a M.A. As a dramaturg and new play development assistant, Watkins has supported productions of Gloria: A Life, Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein and Goodnight Nobody (McCarter Theatre Center). A guiding principle of Friends' support has been to maintain the unique educational opportunity ( students direct every aspect of Intime's management. Her writing is fed by her scholarship, which ranges from articles on feminist music theatre pedagogy to environmentalist performance adaptations of Welsh myth. The Friends of Princeton University’s Thtre Intime was founded in 1988 to help support undergraduate activities and provide funding for specific capital needs of the Hamilton Murray Theatre. She is a recipient of a Fulbright Award and the co-creator of Humbug Theatre Co., an educational theatre program founded to offer joyful, inclusive theatre-making opportunities for young people during the pandemic.
Her plays have been developed with support from PlayPenn, McCarter Theatre Center's LAB, Chapter Arts Centre (United Kingdom), Theatre Intime, Princeton Lewis Center for the Arts and Cardiff University (United Kingdom). in Theatre candidate with a specialization in playwriting at The University of Texas at Austin.
